Infants
We accept infants from six weeks. Our staff has specialized training in child development techniques to promote eye contact, holding, talking, singing, and sensory development. Pediatric CPR and First Aid training ensure that your newborn will be safe and loved while away from home.
Toddlers (15 -24 months)
This is the first opportunity for your child to interact in a structured group setting where they learn how to share and to cooperate with each other though parallel play activities. Expressive language skills, vocabulary, curiosity, and social roles are developed at this age, with plenty of time for running, jumping, and playing!
Pre K Two (ages 2-3)
At this age, your child strives to be independent and wants to do more on their own. Activities such as using the toilet, dressing, washing hands, hygiene, eating, cleanliness, and organization are implemented. Motor, sensory skills, and hand-eye coordination are developed. Peer group communication and the dynamics of a classroom are also developed, as are comprehension, vocal, and literacy skills.
Pre K Three (Ages 3-4)
At three, verbal language, personal identity, and independence are further developed with an emphasis on a daily routine. Verbal interaction with other children fosters detailed conversations and experiential learning. Individual interests and personal experiences are openly shared. Expressiveness and creativity through art, painting, drawing, and clay are integrated with divergent thinking and problem-solving skills.
Pre-K & VPK (Ages 4-5)
Our focus at this stage is preparing your child for Kindergarten. Reading skills are further developed focusing on letter recognition and sounds. Writing and drawing are more detailed. Math concepts and comparison of objects, size, colors, and shapes along with basic knowledge of days, months, seasons, and various holidays are taught. Creativity, imagination, and curiosity fuel the transition to complex thinking and analysis.
